Dog databases across Europe
Sixteen official registers in thirteen countries. Only a handful will calculate what two dogs would produce.

Denmark
- HundewebMembers only
Dansk Kennel Klub (DKK) · Danish, English
PedigreesHealth resultsShow resultsOffspringThe surrounding portal — courses, activities, the show calendar, booking a health examination — is open to anyone, but DKK states plainly on its own page that the dog database itself is for members. Members then see every DKK-registered dog, pedigrees, results, health data and litters. No inbreeding calculator was visible from outside.
Finland
- KoiraNet (Jalostustietojärjestelmä)Open to all
Suomen Kennelliitto — Finska Kennelklubben · Finnish, Swedish, English
PedigreesHealth resultsInbreeding coefficientShow resultsOffspringBreeding restrictionsThe most complete public system in Europe, open since 2005 and covering every FCI breed registered in Finland. Shows the inbreeding percentage alongside the pedigree with a selectable generation depth; the club's own breeding guidance recommends keeping the eight-generation figure under 6.25 per cent. Has an English interface.
France
- LOF SelectMembers only
Société Centrale Canine (SCC) · French
PedigreesInbreeding coefficientIts own navigation offers viewing a dog's record, searching for breeding stock and creating a virtual mating, alongside health protocols and reproduction sections. Visiting it without an account returns the club's own access-refused page with a log-in link, so an account is required — this was observed directly, not inferred.
Hungary
- Champion ÉrtéktárOpen to all
Magyar Ebtenyésztők Országos Egyesületeinek Szövetsége (MEOESZ) · Hungarian
Show resultsChampion titles awarded from 8 February 2024 onward, searchable by breed, dog name, stud-book number or title type, with the judges named. Champions only — no pedigrees, health results or coefficients for ordinary dogs.
Iceland
- HundavefurMembers only
Hundaræktarfélag Íslands (HRFÍ) · Icelandic, Danish, English
Show resultsClub information, health-examination booking and show catalogues are visible to anyone; the club states that the database itself is open only to active members, so the pedigree side could not be inspected. Do not follow the club's Sámur link expecting a database — it is the member magazine.
Italy
- Libro Genealogico On LinePartly open
Ente Nazionale della Cinofilia Italiana (ENCI) · Italian
PedigreesSearchable by name, registration number or microchip for dogs registered from 1995. Free registration is required and it asks for an Italian tax code, which is a real obstacle from outside Italy. Pedigree and registration data only — the page names no health results or show results.
Lithuania
- E.KinologijaOpen to all
Lietuvos Kinologų Draugija (LKD) · Lithuanian, English
PedigreesHealth resultsShow resultsSearch by dog name or stud-book number, covering dogs registered in Lithuania since 1993 and dogs shown at LKD events. The club's own announcement describes it as a trial version still being corrected, so treat completeness with caution. The page renders client-side, so the search screen could not be inspected directly.
Netherlands
- Dutch Dog DataOpen to all
Raad van Beheer op Kynologisch Gebied in Nederland · Dutch
PedigreesHealth resultsOffspringShow resultsFree search by name, stamboeknummer, chip number, birth year or breed. Covers NHSB-registered dogs born from 1997. Dutch only, no English. No inbreeding coefficient. Printed pedigrees from it are explicitly not official documents.
Norway
- DogWebOpen to all
Norsk Kennel Klub (NKK) · Norwegian
PedigreesHealth resultsInbreeding coefficientShow resultsOffspringBreeding restrictionsOpen to everyone, not only members — the club states that anyone may look up relationships and official health data. The page itself is a JavaScript application, so the search screen could not be inspected directly; the feature list comes from the club's own published descriptions, including its document on inbreeding calculation in DogWeb.
Poland
- Baza badań zdrowotnychOpen to all
Związek Kynologiczny w Polsce (ZKwP) · Polish
Breed requirementsWhich tests each breed requires, chosen from a dropdown of around 378 breeds. Breed level only — it does not return an individual dog's results. This is the source our own Polish record was read from.
- Baza mikroczipówOpen to all
Związek Kynologiczny w Polsce (ZKwP) · Polish
Microchip lookupA 15-digit chip number returns the dog's name, kennel name, sex, date of birth and issuing branch. No pedigree and no health results.
Serbia
Kinološki savez Republike Srbije (KSRS) · Serbian, English
Show resultsSearchable FCI champion titles plus judge and kennel-name registries. There is no pedigree, health-test or inbreeding tool; a pedigree is verified by contacting the national pedigree book office, not by looking it up.
Sweden
- SKK AvelsdataOpen to all
Svenska Kennelklubben (SKK) · Swedish
PedigreesHealth resultsInbreeding coefficientShow resultsOffspringThe breeder's tool: a five-generation pedigree, hip and elbow indices updated weekly, veterinary results, offspring, and a trial-pairing feature that returns the inbreeding coefficient of a hypothetical litter before it exists. Swedish only. Full breeding data mainly for dogs born from 1990.
- SKK HunddataOpen to all
Svenska Kennelklubben (SKK) · Swedish
Show resultsHealth resultsThe plainer register behind Avelsdata: every SKK-registered dog since registrations were computerised in the mid-1970s, plus imports and foreign dogs shown in Sweden. Competition results from 1993.
United Kingdom
- Health Test Results FinderOpen to all
The Royal Kennel Club (formerly The Kennel Club; rebranded 25 Nov 2025) · English
Health resultsSearch by registered name or stud book number; the name must match the registration certificate exactly. The old thekennelclub.org.uk address redirects here.
- Inbreeding Coefficient CalculatorOpen to all
The Royal Kennel Club · English
Inbreeding coefficientCalculates a coefficient for one registered dog or for the hypothetical puppies of two named mates, over full pedigree depth. Formerly branded Mate Select; that name no longer resolves.
