Breeding conditions

• The breeding inspection (vzrejni pregled) is the gateway. Minimum age 9 months for the Cairn - 12 applies only to the Airedale and American Staffordshire.
• Conformation grade at least db (3), from an assessment or special show in Slovenia, or two Slovenian show gradings.
• HD matrix, binding once a result exists: HD B may be mated only with HD A; HD C earns POG (conditional) and may be mated only with HD A.
• PL matrix, binding once a result exists: PL 1 or 2 only with a PL 0 partner; above PL 2 means exclusion from breeding.

Read this first

• No breed-specific health test applies to the Cairn. The rulebook does name breeds where rules differ - hip radiographs are obligatory for the American Staffordshire and recommended for the Airedale, and a patella examination is obligatory for section 4 Toy terriers - which is what makes the absence meaningful rather than an oversight. The Cairn sits in section 2.
• Testing is not required, but the HD and PL matrices constrain pairings once results exist - the same trap as the German CMO rule.
• An earlier pass recorded the club domain as terrier-klub.si, which does not resolve, and reported this rulebook as binary/unparseable. The club is at skt.si and the PDF opens normally with pdftotext.
