- Not established. ÖKfT manages Zuchtzulassung for all terrier breeds and cites "die für die Rasse erforderlichen Befunde laut Zuchtbestimmung", but the Zuchtbestimmungen listing which tests apply to which breed is not published publicly. The approval form lists many possible tests (patella, HD, DNA profile, vWD, DM, PRA) without saying which are mandatory for the Cairn.
- Searched: terrier.at Zuchtzulassungen, Zuchtbuch and the online approval form. The ÖKV Rahmenzuchtordnung (24.02.2026) was read but applies only to breeds managed directly by ÖKV, not to breeds delegated to a breed club like ÖKfT.
- The ÖKV framework sets general conditions (three conformation evaluations at minimum Sehr Gut, stud from 15 months, bitch 15 months to 8 years, max 4 litters, max 2 C-sections, 12 months between litters). Whether ÖKfT follows these or sets its own could not be confirmed.

Official registers run by national kennel clubs. Every link here was opened and confirmed.
No official database was found for this country. What was searched is recorded with the requirements.
Requirements are shown in the language they were published in. Translating a regulation risks changing it. This reports what clubs published, with the date each source was read. It is not approval to breed — confirm with the club before you rely on it. (Checked: 8 August 2026)
